Pros

Generous product discount on great products.

Cons

Insufficient training at all levels have led to high turnover, especially on the store management level. Unrealistic store budgets lead to payroll cuts, leaving the store vulnerable at peak times, making it more difficult to achieve budget numbers. Store is usually improperly staffed that quite often, that it is usually a manager and one other associate, two if you were lucky enough to have the budget for it. They have difficulty in hiring, training, and retaining, great employees.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
