Pros
For me, the culture is by far and away the most important aspect of any organization and really the baseline in which you should judge the "health" of a company. From the get go, this company has demonstrated a consistently positive, healthy and fun culture in all facets. From forecasting meetings, to challenging scenarios and company wide town halls, there is a great vibe everywhere.
The leadership is stellar - fully supportive, wholly knowledgeable and just flat out kind, I have learned so much and have been asked to do a lot, which I relish. Its not common to be taking on big projects so soon after starting, but that was the norm here and continues to be so. Everyone here has a go getter mentality and hard working ethos, so if you're lazy, be prepared to be exposed. As long as you work hard and put forth good ideas and help out your fellow teammate, you will fit in quite nicely at Surprise.
Im genuinely excited about the products were building and how impactful they are for organizations. Being on the finance side of things, Ive gotten an in depth look at budgets, revenues, cost controls and everything else you need to closely monitor to ensure were profitable. Transparency here is great too, everything is known company wide and everyone is upfront. Been a fantastic experience through and through.
Cons
Truthfully, nothing yet. Things of course are subject to change and I wiil update accordingly, but genuinely happy so far with everything.
