Pros
- great work/life balance - can only speak for myself, but pay was above average for the area - *some* genuinely good, talented people work here - free coffee and occasional lunches (most likely mexican) - unlimited tap water
Cons
- micromanagement: 69/10 - boring af atmosphere and work. majority of the client work is not what you see on the site *cough* healthcare *cough. Imagine those infomercials where the old person grabs their back suddenly. - the quiet is broken by stress sighs from one of the owner's office, keyboard clacks as someone messages their desk neighbor on slack, hipster/urban outfitters music playing in the distance, and the rare person-to-person conversation. - you will be left asking yourself "what is the point?" - don't be mislead by the rock music and motorcycle raging out of the front doors. it's nothing like that. - if you're looking to grow and be challenged, look elsewhere. if you're looking to be told you're wrong and be fed minimal to little direction/guidance and be set up for failure, work at Sway.
