Pros
Very easy application process, fun to work at the pool for the summer, can work lots of overtime during parts of the summer
Cons
Poor pay across the board, many of the pools are very understaffed, management quality from pool to pool is inconsistent, have to pay for own uniform and lifeguard course, if you put full time or management be prepared to work lots of overtime in May and August, experience varies from pool to pool
