As a current employee, I am also one of the individuals at risk of redundancies. This is undoubtedly a challenging time for everyone, but I have been made redundant in the past and the way which this company has dealt with this so far has been far better than my past experience. Our CEO has been upfront and transparent throughout even acknowledging mistakes and committing to learning from them rather than shifting blame. That’s something I deeply respect. When I first heard about the redundancies, I reached out to the people team for a call. They gave me all the time I needed, which is something I’ve never encountered in any of my previous companies. Regardless of what happens, I can honestly say I’m proud to be part of this journey.
