Pros

During my time working for the company, I met many great people. Despite all of us have moved on from T-Tech, we all still remaining in contact and regularly meet up. Good exposure on the right and wrong way to run a company. Interesting support cases and projects.

Cons

Initially working for this company was exciting and expanded my technical expertise, sadly this did not continue to subsequent years. The training and development process within the company was inadequate and did little for staff in their long term career decisions. Despite the lack of support for staff, the expectation from the company was to pass multiple exams per year. Unfortunately, this led to staff members learning nothing more than the answers to exams in order to gain certificates. This led to staff having certificates but lacking the technical ability to match. Due to this being a small company, the understanding for team building and the benefits it brings had not been realised. For such a small company you want everyone to want to work together in busy times or in a crisis. Unfortunately each department seemed to have their own agenda which made even the most simple of tasks difficult. As with many small companies the internal processes were very raw and unrefined. One example was the internal process for project management among other things suffered for many years, which lead to projects taking 3-4 times the initial timeframe, exceeding budgets and needing clients to make hard choices. Pay more, change companies or drop the project altogether. The directors were unwilling to listen and take on board ideas from staff members. Instead they would bring an idea they heard from a meeting and expected it to be implemented in an unrealistic timeframe. Not unusual for directors. Not only were these ideas unrealistic, they would not be vetted correctly to see if a) it was right for the business or b) right for the client base. Down the line the majority of ideas would be cast aside for lack of popularity While I found this company to be immature, things may have improved since my experience. However, I would not work for this company again, or suggest anyone I know to work there.

Pros

Work at home. Excellent technical support and good benefits.

Cons

Minimal training and then demand perfection. Less emphasis on clientele issues and obsessive concern with controlling their phone systems.
