Pros

They hire good people - I've worked with a lot of great TCGers, both in terms of skills and personality, in my 5+ years with the company. Management cares about employee happiness and is very receptive to feedback. They are a telework-first company. They seek to pay people fairly and that has been my experience. As a certified B Corporation the company has committed to doing good in the world rather than focusing solely on profit, which I greatly appreciate.

Cons

As a company that does primarily government contracting, an employee's individual working situation (e.g. with regard to telework) may vary depending on the client.

What a great review, thank you! We do hire good people; you’re absolutely right! It’s not easy to do - we reject some 98% of applicants, and hiring can take longer than we would like. But the proof is in the pudding, and that pudding is definitely part of our “secret sauce” (to mix gastronomic metaphors). At the moment, all our clients want people offsite (we currently have exactly one person - who prefers to be onsite - onsite at a client). We anticipate that changing a little, so we are planning for that possibility, but we don’t see clients wanting people back full-time onsite anytime soon. That said, while we have always been a “telecommuting first” company (for 28 years!), our clients have needs (and they do pay the bills), so we need to do what we can to meet those needs. If there’s any upside to the pandemic, it made people recognize how productive they can be when working from home. We have been trying to educate clients about the concept for decades, but there’s nothing like first-hand experience to prove a point. Hopefully, the lessons of the last few years will prove long-lasting. Thank you for the glowing review!

Pros

I worked as a Training Specialist supporting federal training initiatives and had a very positive experience overall. The organization maintained a professional and collaborative environment where leadership was approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in both customer success and employee support. One of the company’s strengths was its ability to operate effectively within a complex federal environment while maintaining flexibility and strong communication across teams. Employees were trusted to take ownership of their responsibilities, and individuals who demonstrated initiative were often given opportunities to contribute beyond the boundaries of their formal roles. The work was meaningful, team collaboration was strong, and management maintained professionalism during periods of organizational and contractual transition.

Cons

Cons Like many federal contracting environments, long-term stability can sometimes be influenced by contract cycles and government funding timelines. Processes occasionally evolved during active projects, requiring adaptability from staff.
