Pros
- very flexible, you can work from anywhere, as long as the work gets done, nobody cares - some very skilled coworkers, possibility to learn quite a lot
Cons
- toxic management, the upper and middle management are all hired based on nepotism, they recommend each other and have a very clique vibe like highschool - hiring very loud and aggressive people that are rude and talk over you, all of this bad behavior is excused because they are skilled (plot twist, they're incompetent and loud) - changing structure and goals when the wind blows, in one year I've seen at least 4 restructurings
