Leadership on my team changed and the culture took a downturn. They will lay off/fire with no legitimate reason, but with 100% support from other leaders who do not know you or your role. My previous team changed from an experienced, talented pool of 12 individuals to 5 newly hired people who seem to follow one specific individual from one workplace to another.
Unfortunately, due to "core values" and not wanting to speak "below the line", serious and important conversations critiquing and providing feedback to leadership are not welcome and seem almost taboo.
