Pros
There is a great group of entry level employees. Everyone is trying very hard to support one another, but everything is so erratic.
Cons
Run. Run far and run fast. Although, I have not been here long, it became clear very quickly that this place is all sorts of messed up and pivots on the whim of an ancient, delusional owner trying to stay relevant. When I first started, the new HR employee and a handful of the executive team members, along with the owner tried to paint the picture that this is the team the company wants to move forward with and that recently departed employees were trouble. After speaking with a handful of members and reading communications from coworkers, it's clear that the former employees wised up and ran from the crazy. Members complain that they have new representatives every couple of weeks and have accused the company of creating news terms and conditions frequently to try to save face. Some employees were laid off citing 'lack of work' meanwhile two or three people were hired at an even LOWER salary to replace them. Investors have begun to catch on that THIRDHOME is a complete scam. When confronted with these accusations, the response from the executive team has been 'they do not have to participate in the club" Of the 35 employees, over 11 are executive level pulling in over $100,000 annually. While the remainder of employees bust their butts working far more than 40 hours per week. Many employees work additional part time jobs. Obviously, it isn't hard to figure out that such a distorted pay balance will result in a failing company. Every employee is looking privately or publicly for an alternative job. Executives continue to collect paycheck after paycheck while going down with the sinking ship, aware that is exactly what is happening. THIRDHOME follows a failed business model but the obstacle that is insurmountable is the Founder. Described by one former employee as, 'a truly exceptional piece of crap', make no doubt about it, he is a con man. Many employees feel stuck in this dumpster with the economy so poor, there is no other option. The company changes the commission structure week to week so employees don't receive any bonus. And the sexism is unreal. It is unreal to witness women be completely ignored in meetings and while members are being walked around and introduced to the male employees.
