Pros
As long as you give them enough notice, they're very accommodating of your schedule. The managers are pretty nice, it's cool getting to see clothes when they're just out. Being friends with other associates and coordinators, as well as getting on the good side of the higher-ups will be really beneficial and make your hours go by a little faster.
Cons
Getting these rewards cards is number one for the company, and they expect you to ask every single customer to sign up for one, regardless of the size of purchase. We get absolutely no compensation (other than chocolate.) for getting one of these credit cards, so without an incentive no one even bothers if a manager isn't around. You're paid minimum wage when you first begin, even if you're on a 10 hour shift in the holiday season, and you are still expected to give a customer the kind of attention they'd get a luxury store.
