Pros

It's a cool job on the surface. You get to see celebrities from time to time. Stepping into the office and seeing it in person is cool. Seeing everyone work collectively as a whole to get a story up is cool. Seeing how the television shows get put together is cool. You learn how to work in an extremely high-paced environment and how to work alongside many different and sometimes difficult personalities. Majority of coworkers are nice. There is catered lunch three times a week, a dessert bar one day a week, a stocked kitchen full of snacks and sometimes given free food on days of celebration.

Cons

You will lose your sanity working here. The pay is incredibly low for the amount of work you're expected to do. I was told by HR that they literally do not adjust pay due to cost of living. I genuinely feel like I would have made the same amount of money working full-time at McDonald's. The work day is 10 hours long. Shifts start between 4-8 AM. There are no performance reviews so when it's time for you to ask for a raise and promotion... Good luck! The only way your performance is measured is by word of mouth. There is never any feedback other than the occasional "good job today" Slack message. However, if you are favorited by upper management, promotions and raises will be handed to you on a silver platter. To my knowledge, there are no end of year bonuses. The work culture is very high school and cliquey. Someone is always complaining about something. Something somewhere is always breaking down. It's an extremely high-paced job, and sometimes the requests are unrealistic and unnecessary but it has to get done. There is always chaos and drama. I've seen people get into screaming matches in the middle of work. This work place is not normal and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone other than to use it as a step stone to get to someplace better.

Pros

The celebrity networking was the only benefit.

Cons

The pay was bad, the hours were minimal, and the over all company was disorganized and unprofessional. The senior management were rude and derogatory.
