Pros
Well it was close to home. The front office was clean. And there were 2 nice people there, unfortunately they were not in management and I was not allowed to talk to them. I guess their product are made pretty good, unfortunately their relationships with their partners/customers are not.
Cons
It should have been a red flag for me even before I started working there when the temp agency told me that they needed someone who had a strong bearing, didn't cry, and could put up with the "good ole boy's" club. I worked as the executive assistant, apparently the two people prior to me were fired within 2 weeks, I guess I did something right because I made it to 3! Since I worked an administrative job in the past I was expected not to need any training, and that's exactly what I got. I could go on blast about how horrible of a man the CEO (Tom Ferris) is, but my review would be way too long. Let's just say that in my short 3 week span there was on average someone fired every other day. This would normally end as a yelling match between the CEO and the employee with lots of threats and obscenities. Then I would receive a phone call from the employee a while later requesting to talk to Tom because they haven't been paid and Tom would never answer. This goes for all of the clients that had placed orders with them as well. There would be daily phone calls asking why their order was not finished and Tom just told me to say he was on the floor. I get taking a message because I know you are a busy "important" man, but after me telling someone the same line for 2wks in row it gets a little hard to believe. I actually had one of his ex clients on the phone say I was "The flavor of the week" and was interested in seeing who would be in my position the next week he called, fortunately he was right.
