Your client (the company you service) can switch at a moment's notice, causing you to need to retrain. Also, every time your client changes you are subject to being let go. There are consistent pay issues. Your pay is capped and I went several years without a raise. The health insurance coverage is some of the worst I have seen. I get some is better than none, but paying for coverage that is nil is ridiculous. For example, they offered insurance that only covered 5 doctor visits for a pregnancy. Anyone who has ever come into contact with a pregnant woman knows this is absurd. There are few, if any, true opportunities for advancement. You can become a manager, but the pay is not, if any, much better, you are just in charge of babysitting others. The facilities are so nasty. The bathrooms are always in disrepair, causing fowl stench to seep into the rooms you are in. Speaking of the rooms, there are no windows. None. And you either freeze or burn up. If you happen to get a client that offers work from home, it is better. However, you sign a piece of paper that states your manager has the right to stop by your home anytime they want while you are working. Lovely! The equipment is faulty, and there is a huge amount of turnover.
