Why do we work? Answer: MONEY! - Due Diligence Associate TRACE International Employee Review

Pros

The office is in beautiful Annapolis. I like Annapolis although many DC and Baltimore coworkers complain it's a unnecessary commute so this is a personal preference. Most co-workers are friendly.

Cons

1. Ridiculously low salary. It's basically HALF of what can be earned in other firms, that's right... HALF! **THINK ABOUT THAT**. You do the SAME work but every day know you're earning fifty percent less for your efforts than other people. 2. Have to pay $37 to park your car. 3. Annapolis isn't for everyone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We love our location and team too! In response to the cons listed, we pride ourselves on providing employees with a healthy work-life balance. The majority of our team works remotely, and we do not authorize overtime, so we would hope that no one feels overworked. TRACE's President and leadership team do travel a great deal for work, to speak at key international events where they represent TRACE and our member companies and advocate for more robust anti-corruption efforts. It’s not clear why the President’s travel schedule would anger anyone as our whole team is permitted to work remotely and our President is always available even while traveling, but it is true that there are very few opportunities for more junior employees to travel. For local events, we do our best to invite as many employees as possible.
