Pros

One of the things that's important to me is being at a mission-driven company that solves a real-world, durable problem. TRM is as mission-driven as it gets and the problem we solve is one that needs solving and does not have an easy fix. In other words, the opportunity for the company is large. The next important factor is that there is a leadership team with a clear vision and a supporting cast of high-caliber professionals dedicated to the mission. I am consistently impressed by the quality of people and how committed they are to excellence and solving for our customers' needs. Last, though not least, the work has to be fun. There is a lot of laughter and joy in the work that we do. I get to tackle meaningful problems, bring my creativity, and evolve our strategies and tactics. There is a lot of freedom to experiment, which I need :)

Cons

As others have pointed out, TRM is not for people looking to punch the clock. It asks a lot of its employees. So, you need to be dedicated to the mission and the team in order for TRM to make sense for you. You'll grow quickly but need to be willing to invest the time and energy. It's not for everyone.

Pros

- Extremely high talent density, you are surrounded by peers that challenge you to be better daily. - Endless opportunity for staying on top of AI and using it for actual business impact. This company gives the entire org (technical and non technical) access to the best tools on the market and is constantly bringing new things in. - Being able to experiment with new ways of doing things is something that is pushed by leadership and highly valued. - If you are someone that thrives in an environment of high personal ownership, and being able to feel how your work directly impacts customers then you will love working here. If you are looking for a place that you will actually learn and develop skills that will push you further in your career then this is the place for you. If you are looking to just coast by and collect a check then this is not the right environment for you.

Cons

- Work life balance could be better, but this is an extremely high growth startup, you know what you are getting into for the upside. - Must be okay with working at a very international company, you will have some coworkers / stakeholders that operate on completely opposite timezones as you do and understand that sometimes you will need to accommodate that

Pros

- Impact-driven culture — performance is judged by outcomes, not hours - Every team focuses on outcomes rather than energy spent - High hiring bar, so you work with strong colleagues - Remote-first and internationally distributed, which gives real flexibility - Tackling novel problems that haven't been solved before - Mission matters — the work has real-world consequences - Pushback is possible; concerns about workload can be raised and heard - Competing meaningfully in a market dominated by a few large players

Cons

- Work-life balance can be challenging given the pace and ambition - Some teams are more fun to work on than others, depending on scope and dynamics - Operating in an aggressive, fast-moving space means sustained pressure - Startup territory means ambiguity — you're often defining the path as you go - Leadership quality varies (as it does in any organization) - AI-driven environment demands constant adaptation; not everyone thrives in that mode
