The firm is so image conscious and likes to brag online about leading market compensation when the reality is far from it - the pay has not increased to be market competitive. The firm also tries to put out an image that it values and retains talent - but only only needs to look at the sheer volume of associates and senior associates quitting the firm, not to mention that at lower levels the firm has a really poor retention rate for trainees. Upper management is highly political and completely out of touch to feedback. Really poor flexibility and work from home policies.
