Terrible Employer - Executive Assistant Take It Easy Group Employee Review

You might connect with some nice people before you all realize what a dumpster fire this company and the owner are.

This place has the most insane turnover I've ever seen. I worked there for 15 months and 21 people quit in that time. The CEO would always make up a lie about how they "breached confidentiality," but we could easily verify what actually happened by speaking to that person. They would quit and she would refuse to let them work out their 2-week notice or tie loose ends up with their clients - she locked them out of all systems immediately and told us they had been fired. I took enormous pains to leave this place on good terms despite hearing horror story after horror story from my co-workers. I hope that if I did this, I would be immune from the treatment that others received. I worked out my two weeks notice and helped transition my clients. Cut to almost 5 months after my last day and this woman has still not paid me for my last two weeks of employment or my unpaid vacation days. I didn't take the week after my WEDDING off in order to cover a client for someone who quit with no notice. I have never dealt with anything like this in my professional or personal life. I have had a lawyer send her a demand letter which she has ignored. My next step will be to take her to small claims court. Many other employees who left this company are owed money. Also told US employees we'd have insurance after 3 months of employment. I never got insurance. Do not, under any circumstances, work here. I could honestly write a dissertation on the many other insane things that happened at this place, but I don't even have the energy.
