Pros

Family owned business so it’s not the usual “meat market” environment.

Cons

T-101 Ownership has issues with telling the truth. Don’t expect them to have your back - they don’t. This employer allows clients to be abusive to the consultant and expects the consultant to “suck up” anything over 40 hours a week. This particular client’s PMO is less than functional. The client’s management/leadership is very jaded and for the most part dysfunctional and has a hard time integrating cross functional teams to deliver engagements.

We do take reviews and this information seriously. Talent 101 prides itself on telling the truth to our employees as well as being advocates for them. First, we would never ask nor have ever told an employee to “suck up” anything over 40 hours a week, that is a false allegation which we do not appreciate. We appreciate that Glassdoor gives anonymity to reviewers, because of this we are unable to determine the reason you are a former employee, if it was for performance or leaving on your own accord. Additionally after reviewing our records, we have not been able to find anyone that has worked for our PMO for over two years that is a former employee.

You know you are in trouble from the start when Talent 101 says, “Can you support a difficult customer?” – that there was a revolving door of resources/staff that would cultivate mistrust. Resources who work for Talent 101 will experience unprofessional, discouraging, and degrading behavior from the customer, and T101 leadership will not interfere with this behavior. T101’s ability to manage the customer’s conduct towards their resources was “window dressing” and ineffective. T101 management enabled an unhealthy work environment, intimidation, and psychological annoyance towards their staff. If you cannot trust the leadership you work for to have your back, then why would you work for Talent 101?

Sorry for your experience. We dont have any record of a Project Manager leaving our company in March or April 1st, so its hard to speak to your experience without knowing more information. We are only able to control so many aspects of work, but we can not control our client's employees. They do not report to us or work for us. They report to their internal management so we do not have any say over their actions.
