Previously working on the tools as a contractor, I never fully understood company culture and values, it is something that a lot of contractors overlook, we go for a job, get it done then move to the next. Since transitioning from the tools to the keyboard, joining the early stages of a business that was operating out of a small warehouse, I have been given the opportunity to not only develop the foundations of recruitment (with some of the best in the game) but I also experienced what company values and culture really means. Growth is a personal value that has stuck with me for quite some time which Talentko displays seamlessly, the fact the business went from 6 people in a warehouse to 35 people in a corporate office in the city under 6 months speaks enough. In addition, I have been a part of personal development programs, dedicated to personal growth and developing emotional intelligence, which has been provided by the company to help us grow. Rapid growth in twelve months meant that some of the baseline infrastructure around policy and procedures were not fit for purpose to support growth. We’ve made some critical business changes to change that, we have an onboarding program to support or new staff and are embracing technologies to automate our business
