Pros

The sway you get is decent, but it kind of repeats. They do provide a nice setup for remote work. Coworkers are enjoyable to work with and learn from. They do seem to care about inclusion and seem like they are on the right path,

Cons

Pay is well below the industry median by about 15% or more depending on your location. They try and offset it with the potential for IPO, but you won't make enough to buy a reasonable amount of shares even if they make it that long. "Unlimited" PTO, but of course, it's not. It's just an excuse not to allow you to accrue and use PTO. You're expected to answer emails and be on call at all times and work seven days a week and on holidays. Supervisors and managers have no real advice or strategy for direct reports and are often unaware (or maybe just withholding) of what the next steps are for the company. Quarterly reviews provide confusing feedback. You hit all your goals last quarter and here's your bonus! two weeks later your work is lacking. What happened in 14 days? Why wasn't this discussed in the review? You gave me a bonus, but are upset with the work? Documentation is spread out and spotty at best. Training on systems internally developed or run is inadequate. Headhunters are chasing whales that don't see the company as a unique partner and the company is very heavily weighted in one vendor that if they lose will hurt them a lot.

Pros

WLB is quite good at TapResearch.

Cons

Things that you can expect from an small startup: - not well defined tasks - a lot of tech debt - lack of processes (this could also be good)

Pros

TapResearch can offer a conducive setting for cultivating new skills. However, acquiring institutional knowledge may pose an enduring obstacle throughout one's tenure. Despite TapResearch 's competitive compensation, interactions with management could potentially cause considerable stress.

Cons

TapResearch is experiencing a notable shortage of effective leadership and clear direction. Senior leadership's communication regarding both the company's long-term strategy and daily operations is suboptimal. Furthermore, there appears to be a lack of institutional accountability within the organization, which can hinder progress and productivity. Additionally, there is evidence of toxicity stemming from certain business leaders at TapResearch, which leads to a negative work environment. These factors suggest that there may be room for improvement in TapResearch 's leadership and management practices to foster a more positive and productive workplace.
