Pros

some really great people as coworkers there used to be a few snacks on a table but that got taken away

Cons

Would not recommend working here - extremely toxic work environment. They have had multiple layoffs this year and there is not much hope that there won't be more. The culture is very fearful towards losing their job in the next layoff. Upper management changes their mind on direction of the company every couple months. They constantly toss creative people back and forth on accounts to try to avoid hiring the actual amount of staff needed and then clients complain about the creative not being great... They care more about the in office attendance look for Omnicom than anything else. If you are sick, you "make up" the in office day the following week. Everything just centers around being in office (where no real collaboration happens - everyone just rants together and encourages worse company culture) and being 100% billable so you don't lose your job. I'm shocked upper leadership has lasted this long under Omnicom but I'm sure it is a matter of time.

Pros

I had a lot of opportunities to branch out and learn from other departments. Everyone was willing to put in the effort to offer me help or advice.

Cons

I wish I had more hands-on opportunities and shadow.

Pros

There are some really kind, supportive people who work there. Pay is/was ok.

Cons

Terrible, toxic culture, starting at the top. Constant hand-slapping by leadership about the business downturn, but guess what? The work output largely sucks. And teams keep making stupid mistakes that make clients angry. Clients leave, and somehow it's a surprise. They're trying to become "more than the email agency," but they cannot even do email all that well. Leadership constantly talking about how excited they are about the Omnicom/IPG merger, talking it up to employees who are demoralized and worried about losing their jobs. Totally tone deaf. Lots of voluntary turnover, but leadership doesn't seem to be picking up on that signal. Benefits keep getting cut. Holidays taken away. Insurance getting worse & more expensive. Insanely misplaced focus on tracking your in-office days. They used to have someone walk around and take attendance. Taking attendance of adults. Now they just ping your computer. If anyone dares to leave early on a Friday, leadership will send a passive-agressive message like "Hi friends, did I miss happy hour?" Account people can be terrible. Been yelled at, torn down in public, sworn at, lied to, etc. Overall, hands down the worst experience with an employer I've ever had.
