Pros

I am a fairly recent addition to the Targus EMEA team, and it's been an incredibly exciting time so far! When I carried out initial research on the company, the Glassdoor reviews weren't great, with reviews mentioning a divided management vs employee culture. I'm pleased to report that the culture in TARGUS EMEA is COMPLETELY the opposite! All management sit out on the main floor, which is open plan, and are integrated into their teams, making them accessible at all times. I had been advised that huge change had happened before I joined, which may have had some impact on the office synergy...BUT, I'm pleased to say that even in the short space of time I have been here, there is a tangible positive difference in the working environment. More interaction between the teams takes place and, there's definitely a buzz. The want to achieve as a team is very evident! The EMEA office has also experienced a facelift which really showcases all of the companies products and makes it an immersive space for both employees and client experiences. Its modern and stylish, which makes for a great working environment. The management team here also take an avid interest in employees as people, not numbers. There is a real sense of pride in making sure the guys on the ground, which are the companies biggest assets, are looked after. Small benefits like free tea, coffee, and coke are small niceties but very appreciated in the office. We even have a Nespresso machine! Genuine care as opposed to superficial care, makes all the difference. A fantastic company to work for.

Cons

This is a tricky one as change is still happening! There are a number of changes being implement at the moment, so I'll keep the cons to myself for now as anything listed are part of the review the business is undertaking globally!

The CEO lacks leadership abilities. No raises for years. You have to be in the right click to get any recognition or advance your career. HR dept is completely unsympathetic or helpful.
