Pros

This was a good job that I got a few years out of college. The company is fun and growing fast. There isn't formal training but many lunches with classes and even company-wide contests. This company tries hard to treat clients well, but annoying clients are generally not tolerated and the company generally agrees with employees when clients get upset. The work environment is quiet and comfortable.

Cons

The work can be monotonous, but I guess that is the nature of search engine marketing. Also the pay is a maybe a little bit lower than market for starting but there are perks and the learning opportunity is very valuable. Some of the clients can be demanding.

Pros

Loved my time with Tastyplacement, Michael and Mathew are incredibly knowledgeable guys who are experts in the SEO field. In my 18 months with Tasty, I learned a lot in a short space of time, that will stand to me in my future endeavors. Unfortunately, due to Covid I had limited time in the office, but management we're always available to help and guide me through any difficulties. If my personal circumstances were different, I would have loved to work longer at Tastyplacement!

Cons

Not so much a negative, but the very nature of SEO causes the job to be quite monotonous at times. Senior management do their best to have workshops & tutorials on new trends, to mitigate against the job being too repetitive, which helps.

Pros

If you're looking to learn and get experience in the digital marketing field (specifically SEO and PPC), TastyPlacement is a great place to start building your career. TastyPlacement offers a laid-back and flexible work environment, without overbearing micromanagement. If you are self-motivated and want to grow, you'll thrive in this environment. If there's any issues with a client, upper management also has your back. You won't be left out on your own. There's team happy hours, a legit espresso machine (no Keurig!), and the people who work here are fun to be around. I made many friends here I still keep up with today. I also enjoyed working with Michael and Matthew (upper management). They have a lot to teach you but are also approachable and fun.

Cons

You will work primarily independently, with the aid of upper management. If you are particularly interested in working on projects in a team, this could be something to consider. However, there are weekly team lunches where meals are comped and you get to learn what's new in marketing as a group. I would rate pay and benefits as average, but in line with industry norms for people starting out their career. I think the amount you'll learn and experience gained here adds to the value beyond just pay.
