Pros
Coworkers are amazing and the managers on the floor are great. I don't work with the "behind the scenes" people so I'm not sure how they operate. On the floor managers are great, they are helpful and attentive to the needs of the booksellers.
Cons
The new owners, at least Len, doesn't even know the store layout. Len doesn't like his employees. When Michelle Obama came to town and there were extra autographed copies of her book he sent an email to all the workers telling them that they weren't allowed to purchase copies until they went on sale to the general public while he had 10 copies put aside for himself. At Christmas he didn't even send a holiday email. Nothing. Aside from not liking his employees he also doesn't know the layout of the store. I can't count the number of times he's asked me where a section of the store is located. He's been an owner for 3 years, I've worked there for 7 months. If it wasn't mandated by the State of Colorado to give his employees raises...well, we'd see nothing.
