Pros

Working here has been great so far. I have only been here 90 days but in that 90 days I have received more support, recognition, acknowledgment and appreciation than I received after 13 years of working for my previous employer! The Culture here is great...everyone is so supportive, and they celebrate even the smallest of wins even when things go bad.

Cons

There is a lot of regulations and compliance requirements that control some of our day-to-day functions (expecially in the role I am in) but this is not necessarily a con as much as it is a new process for me to get used to.

Fantastic culture, experienced team members, fun place to work, even in a down market.

Cons

Total compensation can be better, change of insurance not great, unable to use all PTO due to work schedule.

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
