After a couple years of chaos, not only are things settling down, but I feel we're on a very positive path. Moving from a transaction based sales model to an enterprise style has been painful, but that's where the best opportunity is created. Leadership in Germany is listening and that has to do with trust in the Americas team. We had to earn it first. Compensation, sales leadership, territory and GTM changes are all happening in real time, and all of it is heading in the right direction. TeamViewer earned the mistrust of the past. They seem to be trying to earn back the trust. Other things: - the benefits are the best I've ever seen. The BEST. -leadership will listen if you are not complaining -new sales leadership is being listened to
Cons
If you're not ready to take advantage of what's ahead and not listen to what's the past was like, don't come here. I don't think we're finished with the changes we need to make to emerge from a difficult 2022/23. We still have a ways to go in fine tuning our sales GTM (comp plan improvement, partner approach, strategic partnering...). Germany is still running the show for better or worse, but as I said, we can earn our way out of that. Sales people are still not thrilled being here, some may never be. Get used to blunt feedback from Germany, it's just how they are.
