Pros

Remote work possible, ok comp for remote work, can coast if smart.

Cons

The authenticity of positive reviews for this company is highly questionable. A careful examination of the review posting dates reveals a suspicious pattern. It's statistically improbable that multiple individuals would independently choose to write favorable reviews about a small company (with fewer than 50 employees) on the exact same day. This clustering of positive reviews strongly suggests coordinated efforts to artificially inflate the company's reputation, rather than reflecting genuine employee experiences. Potential job seekers should approach these reviews with skepticism and seek more reliable sources of information about the company's work environment. Culture: There are concerning reports about the company's culture. Allegedly, a co-founder hired someone from a dating app. An engineering manager, the co-founder's cousin, seems to be immune to criticism despite questionable technical and managerial skills. The company's claim of having an open culture is contradicted by reports that disagreeing with founders leads to negative consequences. This has resulted in the departure of multiple talented engineers. While the co-founders boast about running a lean operation without HR or substantial benefits, there are concerns about excessive spending on various services. Product: While the product concept is innovative, it's plagued by critical bugs that generate daily user complaints. The sales team frequently overpromises and under delivers. There have been multiple instances where management has allegedly misled customers about timelines, features, and the causes of outages. Engineering: Engineers who prioritize product quality and code maintainability often feel undervalued. The focus seems to be on firefighting preventable issues, appeasing management, and rapidly developing features without proper refinement. This approach has led to a decline in engineering excellence and scalability. Many new hires reportedly regret joining the company and plan to leave after a year. Personally, I am leaving as soon as I get a new job in big tech. Future: The company's future is uncertain. Despite significant investment in acquiring a large client, persistent failure to meet enterprise standards has repeatedly delayed the onboarding process. There's a risk that competitors who prioritize product quality and respect for engineering teams could potentially replicate TeamBridge's offering and capture the market. Conclusion: Potential employees should carefully consider any offers from this company. Those who choose to join should be fully aware of the current challenges and workplace dynamics they may encounter.

Pros

I often look around and think: This is the right product, the right time, the right place, and the right people to do something big. If anyone can leverage the power of Silicon Valley tech to help improve the working experience of millions upon millions of blue collar workers, it’s Teambridge. 60% of the world’s workforce is paid hourly—and that’s the market for Teambridge’s composable workforce management solution. It’s a fully customizable, no code platform that acts as the source of truth for businesses, helping them manage hiring, scheduling, invoicing, pay, and more—making it perfectly positioned to leverage the power of AI. Every day at Teambridge is exciting. Things move fast. The product changes and improves rapidly. The people are brilliant, highly motivated, and work as hard as anyone. My coworkers are interesting, quirky, multifaceted, kind, and generous with their highly sought after time. It’s a good group of people trying to do something big and it’s fun to be a part of it. The office is beautiful, right downtown in between Salesforce Park and the LinkedIn building. The kitchen is well stocked and having dogs in the office is a treat. If you want a true Silicon Valley startup experience that has the opportunity to make a lasting positive mark on the global workforce—Teambridge is the place to be.

Cons

People work hard, long hours. Work-life balance is 90% work 10% life at Teambridge. The teamwork, work environment, and in-office energy is exceptional, and makes it worth it, but there will almost always be more work than what is reasonable for you to handle. The company is ruthlessly committed to maintaining talent density. There has been a lot of turnover and the vast majority of it has been involuntary. Some are quitting because they’re being worked too hard, but the turnover is mostly people getting fired because they’re not producing a good enough work product or they’re not willing to work hard enough. I’ve witnessed intelligent, high-achieving individuals with insanely impressive resumes join the company and quickly get left behind. It’s a place where you are expected to do difficult things, work insanely hard, and earn your spot.
