Pros
You are paid a base salary weekly as well as weekly commissions.
Cons
Very young and immature atmosphere. This isn't an 8-5 job because management expects you to also participate in after work activities to become "friends" with management and co workers. Work starts to get complicated and dramatic as everyone spends too much time together. The majority of the management lives and breathes Technipower so the drama and non stop work talk never ends. Their business ethics are also questionable. Promotion consists of sharing your territory with a new entry level sales person so while you are training them you are not only giving up a part of your own territory but also spending time on someone who probably won't bill anything for 6 months. This is one way Technipower puts a "cap" on earnings. Base Salary is well-below market. Commission structure would be competitive (as percentage is fair), except you are confined to a small & arbitrary territory where there is limited business to be had (this is another way they "cap" your earnings). If you are motivated by commissions and other bonuses (such as real, monetary bonuses and perks) look elsewhere. Technipower's form of a "bonus" is a pizza party or bowling night.
