Pros
Fellow production workers friendly and care about doing a good job. Decent pay compared to local opportunities
Cons
Extreme turnover- longest tenured coworker I had met worked there for 3 years, most had worked less than 2 months there. Constantly new people every single day you show up- impossible to follow up with many departments as the position would be turned over by the time any project of significance was done. Extremely poor management. Terrible benefits- 1 sick day allowed per quarter, 8 days PTO per year, very inflexible with taking unpaid time off. Work culture expects you to be working 24/7, and will continually expand the responsibilities of anyone who cares. Training essentially non-existent for responsibilities of roles- met people who had been working for 2 years in their position and were never trained, not fully knowing how to do core responsibilities. Somehow a stressful work environment despite being a simple job making concrete. Was responsible for managing supply, quality, and live production of the plant despite being a quality tech.
