Pros

I have been promoted twice already in the span of less than two years. There is so much turnover here, that people with little experience (like myself) get a lot of opportunities to grow. You might get a great manager that keeps you happy and helps you make things happen. A lot of processes are broken, which means you get easy brownie points when you fix them.

Cons

Most employees feel things are moving in the wrong direction, or changing direction too quickly to make meaningful progress; so, it takes a degree of mental fortitude to keep yourself motivated. People say that they don't understand the strategy, but what they mean is that they don't like the roadmap. I've heard HR is very ineffective, which is terrible news because as far as managers go, there's a mixed bag... much like everywhere else, I suppose. The company has a quota for diverse people in management positions that is disproportionate to its entry-level population. Worse than lowering the bar for females is raising the bar for males. It's unfair and detrimental to morale. (I am female) It feels like you get the diversity without the inclusion. No training. No roles & responsibilities. Just figure it out. People get snippy often. Layoffs in November.

Pros

Extremely smart engineers in Oregon, generally has a decent culture, invincible brand name

Cons

Company profit isn't being reinvested into itself, parent company controls all profit. This can be seen in lack of NPIs.
