Pros

They pay you above average salaries because they know the trade-off is lies, deceit, and favoritism.

Cons

20 and 30 year old "VPs" that have never managed people before Tellius that hoard information because that's the only way they get to stick around. A CEO that's easily manipulated by power hungry managers that are half his age. They force their Indian employees to write positive reviews on Glassdoor so that the tech world doesn't find out about how terrible of a workplace it is. There is no career growth. You are a body to them. There are no processes in place and your manager will not go to bat for you. Turnover rate for employees is in the 90% range. Most people last less than a year. You find out right away how bad the working conditions are. Tellius has no cash flow so you're constantly worried if the company is going to tank or not. Horrible, horrible leadership. The product is lightyears behind other competitors. Tellius had the biggest drop in both the Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision Gartner quadrants YoY and the CEO does nothing to address that-- only praises that they made the quadrant still. The industry talks and it's clear that word has gotten out about how people should stay away from Tellius. It's a bad brand to have on your resume. Declining sales YoY.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re sorry your experience at Tellius fell short, but several points in the review are not accurate. Our senior leaders have management backgrounds and only the highest performance standards internally. No employee—whether in the U.S., India, or anywhere else—is asked or pressured to write reviews; posting on Glassdoor is entirely voluntary. Employee turnover, company growth, and funding remain within top quartile ranges for a SaaS business, and independent analysts and enterprise customers continue to recognize the strength of our product. Tellius won’t be the right fit for everyone, and we use all feedback—positive or critical—to keep improving our culture and processes. If you’d like to discuss your experience in more depth, please reach out at people@tellius.com. We’re always open to a direct conversation and wish you the best in your next role. — Tellius People & Culture Team

Pros

- Great traction in the market, exciting to be able to work with such large customers at this stage - Really easy whenever we go up against competition - GenAI features and gartner recognition is cool

Cons

It’s a startup, so there's no sugarcoating it—don't join if you really want work life balance

Pros

The only slight positives about this organization was the fully remote work capability and the marketing team that drove inbound leads.

Cons

Quite literally anything and everything you can think of. The management, the absurdly high expectations, the product that rarely worked, the ongoing attrition within the sales org, no room for growth at the organization, and the constant fear of always getting let go for not meeting someones expectations.
