Pros
TerraFirma is a fantastic company that really cares for their employees. They have a well-developed sales training program, a fantastic trainer / training team, and generous compensation. Great benefits (though they do need dental) and a close-knit family team that really looks out for each other. The owner is passionate, the company is growing rapidly and I really think their future is bright. I would never have left had I not been injured and been unable to do the job.
Cons
As a sales person, as long as you're okay with tight, dirty space (you spend a lot of time crawling in and inspecting crawlspaces, oftentimes wet or muddy ones), this job is a dream sales job. It really does offer everything a sales person could look for in a position, in my opinion. And, I speak from 25+ years sales experience. They care, they have great compensation, they listen.... the list goes on. As long as you're not claustrophobic or 6' 4" like me (I got stuck a few times, trying to squeeze through tight openings, etc.; freaked me out a little, I'll admit). If you can handle this ONE drawback, the rest is a walk in the park. They're good people and really care about their customers.... And, their product, install team and warranties are second to none. Also, be prepared to work some very long hours between 2-3 appointments a day and paperwork + dispositions at night. It's to be expected. I don't know that there's such a thing as a six-digit job (which this most definitely is) without a 50-60+ hour work week. If there is, I haven't found it.
