Pros

Games industry entry point. Nice and social co-workers. Great clients and projects.

Cons

Top management have ruined the company. Staff have been treated extremely badly, there have been cases of sexism and bullying but nothing happens if complaints are raised. Management expect staff to solve issues raised rather than take responsibility themselves. Most employees on mid-level are under extreme emotional stress and pushed to their breaking limit, especially as the company is extremely understaffed. Staff are lied to, clients are lied to, the localisation business is being shifted to Poland one step at a time and there are barely any experienced people left in the London office after recent redundancies, including voluntary for which a majority of veterans are claiming. Dodgy and illegal practices are used, e.g. after making all permanent testers redundant they suggest hiring for the same roles just a couple of months later. Procedures affecting pay got changed without HR being consulted and the company has told employees that changes to their hours and pay won't be told to the clients as it will "make the company look bad". Never mind how it looks to the actual staff. Clients are already worried. Will be surprised it if lasts beyond Christmas. Stay away.

Pros

Easy job Top tier client

Cons

New Orleans office is a sweatshop. Gets to 80 degrees daily and has been that way for years. Hard to focus or even care about the work with such bad conditions. HR and management have avoided raises for years and the new system setup is shady and not transparent. Nightmare HR - understaffed and hardly reachable. Upper management had a lot of nepo. I saw a new old head come in, get promo’d to the top, and then promo’d every single person under him along the way. They just hire anyone off the street so competency can be pretty low. But there are some smart people just looking for intro gig.
