Pros
First and foremost is you get to share your faith openly. No egos anywhere. From housekeeping to President, everyone is treated equal. I’ve seen doctors helping food services and nurses helping housekeeping. Incredible. Pay is on par with private sector. Managers, supervisors, directors keep you up to date on training and truly make the day enjoyable.
Cons
PTO. Vacation and sick days all come from one bank. If you plan a vacation in advance and pay for it in advance, don’t get sick. You may not have enough PTO to cover it.
