Pros

It's hard to get fired

Cons

The pay is not as good as they try to make it out to be. The managers aren't helpful and typically tell you to fend for yourself.

Pros

I have worked at Textbook Painting for 2 years now with no end it sight. This company has given me some of the best friendships I've ever had, both inside and outside of work. The owner, Michael, is a family man who cares deeply for the well-being of his staff. The company will, and has, jumped at any chance to help one of its own in any way possible. We set personal growth and work goals every quarter and we track them throughout the year with the hope of reaching each and every one, but also with the understanding that "life happens" and sometimes goals need to be adjusted. Textbook has placed so many opportunities in front of me and its team members, with the only expectation that we try and learn from our mistakes. I have done well with most, and I have done poorly in many, but I continue to learn and grow each day and I am a better person because of it. You can make a lot of money here, and it has nothing to do with "if the office likes you". Get to work on time, stare your challenges in the face, and grow. It really is that simple. This company has become my family. I have friends to call, I have teachers to learn from, and I have guidance and advance from people I can trust. This is unlike any painting company you'll come across, trust me.
