Pros

Some of the people who work here are genuinely good people.

Cons

Where should I start? This is the most unprofessional and toxic organization I have ever witnessed. There is no alignment or clear communication on just about anything, which is pretty amazing because the company is so small. Team members are constantly berated by leadership. Everyone is walking on eggshells at all times in fear they will be reprimanded for something they might not even have done. Yelling is very normal here. Clients are constantly firing the agency and there is massive churn. Rather than learn from any mistakes, leadership becomes combative and blames the client saying things like "Forget them". You are told to stop doing all work for clients if there is any belief that they will not renew their contracts. Because of so much churn, the agency will take on just about any client, even if they are a bad fit, and sell them on things that could not be delivered. I always felt that the clients were being conned. Say whatever it takes to close the deal and then not deliver or provide real value. People are hired and fired randomly. I witnessed somebody being hired after a single 30 minute meeting and then fired within two weeks after being given zero direction or opportunity to be successful. Other people will just randomly show up in meetings without any announcement of who they are or what they do, then disappear without any explanation. There are all sorts of "secret" projects where you may learn that somebody else is working on the exact same thing as another but with zero visibility. This is driven by a deep level of mistrust and paranoia from leadership. You are never given the tools or support needed to successfully execute anything because leadership does not want to lose control. Taking time off is virtually not allowed. Leadership even expects you to work on holidays.

Pros

Exposure to complex, cross-functional projects Fast-paced environment with opportunities to develop new skills Many team members were experienced, knowledgeable, and committed to delivering quality work

Cons

• Role responsibilities expanded well beyond the original job description without a corresponding adjustment in title, compensation, or formal recognition • Performance expectations and evaluation criteria were not consistently defined or applied • Many team members had extensive experience (often 15+ years), yet their expertise was not consistently trusted or leveraged in decision-making • Work that had already been reviewed or approved was frequently subject to last-minute changes to accommodate a single perspective, resulting in late nights, rework, and delayed client deliverables • Ongoing concerns about revenue were frequently communicated, while visibility into financial planning, forecasting, or resource allocation was limited at the team level • Hiring decisions were repeatedly made contrary to input from experienced team members, contributing to resource strain and ongoing financial instability • External consultants were frequently engaged in place of established internal processes that employees had already built and refined, creating duplicated effort and continued operational instability • Full-time hires were made with long-term expectations communicated upfront, yet many roles ultimately functioned more like short-term or contingent arrangements, leading to repeated layoffs and organizational instability • Sales-to-account management handoffs were inconsistent, contributing to onboarding challenges, misaligned expectations, and downstream delivery strain • Processes and accountability standards were regularly emphasized, but not consistently modeled or enforced at the leadership level, creating misalignment and confusion
