Great opportunity for staff to develop and grow.

No cons unless you live far from school. LA Traffic so plan accordingly.

Decent pay and benefits. Not great but not terrible.

Students are truly not held accountable for bad behavior. You can't send students to the principals office to be dealt with in a meaningful way. I stead we as teachers may be asked "what are you doing/not doing that is triggering these behaviors". Also not enough planning time for teachers yet there are really high expectations for us to have every lesson planned out. Leadership seems to have forgotten what it is like to be a classroom teacher and will require PDs every week that are not meaningful to the work we have to get done in class. Things are shifting to be more and more liberal which conflict with my conservative values.
