Pros

I am an employee of Atum and my experiences working for this management consulting firm have been highly positive. The firm has been represented accurately to me. I love the culture of the firm and the collegiality of my colleagues. The nature of engagements are in line with my skills and passions. The firm offers benefits that are important to me such as a 401k plan and a PTO balance. Thus far my comp at Atum has been higher than with previous employers. I read an article in the Business Journal that ranks Atum among the top ten firms in Oregon – this level of growth has been commendable given the length of time the firm has been in business. I highly recommend Atum as an employer of choice.

Cons

Though there isn't a health plan offered currently I have been able to sign up for an affordable individual plan on the open market.

Pros

Atum has stellar management with excellent leadership abilities. They are incredible advocates for their employees, working hard to promote employee skills to clients. The firm employs professionals of all backgrounds, compensates well, and offers Big Four expertise to clients at competitive economics.

Cons

Most clients are located in Pacific Northwest. There are plenty of engagements with dynamic local and international companies. Still, they do not implement internationally as a Big Four firm would on a large international engagement.

Pros

The Atum Group is a firm that excels at matching the right consultant with the right client. This contrasts sharply with my experience at some other firms that do not seem interested in finding the right fit but, instead, try to find any body to fill each available slot. The Atum Talent Team took the time and effort to understand my career goals and interests in addition to my expertise and work experience. They consistently identified clients that I would be passionate working for and engagements where my skills would allow me to deliver exceptional results.

Cons

You have to be ready to cut the cord -- forgo the certainty of a weekly paycheck in exchange for an incredible variety of work, best-in-class clients and attractive hourly pay rates. If you are ready to do that, The Atum Group is an excellent place to work. I have referred my friends and former colleagues to Atum without any hesitation.
