Pros

Small Company Flexible schedule (if you are within the select favorites) Long-term contracts - reliable billable hours

Cons

The company claims an Open Door policy, what they should say is we will open the door for you and push you out. Half of the technical team has the same resume Heavy on following the specific instructions of the Management team when solving a technical problem, One solution fits all mentality. Rather than digging deeper to understand the root cause. And when all fails find a scapegoat to release into the wilderness in hopes of sending with it all the issues.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your experience with The Canton Group did not meet your expectations. I understand how frustrating and discouraging it can be to feel like your contributions are not valued or appreciated. We strive to provide a positive and supportive work environment for all our team members and take concerns and complaints very seriously. Thank you for pointing out some of the hurdles you encountered. Leadership is looking into the concerns raised and are taking steps to address them. The Canton Group is committed to making improvements wherever necessary to ensure that our employees feel valued, supported, and respected. The Canton Group truly does have an open-door policy, with multiple avenues of reporting concerns, with one of those avenues being completely anonymous. We encourage anyone who has concerns or suggestions to please share in a way that they feel most comfortable. This policy applies to employees, subcontractors, and clients. We take all feedback seriously and make every effort to use input to make our work environment better. We wish you all the best and thank you again for sharing your feedback.

Pros

True work-life balance encouraged to maintain flexibility and accountability, creating an environment where high standards and healthy balance coexist. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is the opportunity to serve not just as an individual contributor, but as a thought partner. My input is valued in strategic discussions and decision making processes. I’m not just executing tasks- I am encouraged to challenge assumptions, offer insights, and help shape solutions.

Cons

Prioritizing can be challenging at times. Defining clear roles and responsibilities to avoid overlap and accelerate execution.

Pros

The work culture is genuinely friendly and collaborative, the atmosphere feels professional yet pleasant, the company provided good amount of training and chances to grow, and I've learned a lot from talented colleagues.

Cons

Leadership occasionally makes decisions feel disconnected from day-to-day reality in the teams, without enough bottom-up input or visibility into the actual workload, but that is understandable for a fast-growing company.
