Pros

- Outside of management, great people to work with and made some life long friends. - Good stepping stone to working in a more professional company

Cons

- Work overload and unachievable deadlines - Poor management, untrustworthy and dishonest - Management very controlling over who he can control. Then extremely obnoxious to whom he can't. - A worryingly relaxed approach to both security and backup's. (internally & externally) - No career progression what so ever. Modern technologies are non-existent in this workplace

Thank you for your review. The Creation Lab takes security and backups extremely seriously and we have always invested heavily in this area. Employees at The Creation Lab will not be aware of the high level of security and backups we have in place, as this area is confidentially managed by our external UK based server and IT security company, based off-site. All our servers & services are backed up internally and externally everyday, which you would not have been aware of, due to your employment level at the company. Regarding career progression, many of our employees have gone from being apprentices, achieving NVQ qualifications with us, then moving into permanent positions within The Creation Lab and beyond. So we would disagree that there are no career progression opportunities. I’m not sure what you mean by modern technology being “non-existent in the organisation.” however, we pride ourselves on being ahead of our competition and we continuously work with all the latest developments in IT to achieve high rankings in Google for our clients, incredible virtual tours, mobile apps; through to dynamic web services. Your position in the company may not have made you aware of all the technologies other departments work with and produce. I’m sorry to hear you felt deadlines were unachievable for yourself and we do wish you the very best for your future in a career that’s fits you better.

Pros

- Close to Dartford - Good way to learn very basic marketing strategy

Cons

- Highly toxic work environment -‘Blame-game’ culture with disorganised management - Unrealistic work load I still shock my current employers with stories about my time here. They welcome you initially with smiles and a cutesy ‘small family’ culture which eventually turns into them bullying and harassing you for any mistake or piling work onto you if you’re competent (able to juggle about twenty clients at a time and still attend the stupid two hour long meetings that go nowhere). Believe the poor reviews on here. Beware as a current employee if you are passing the ‘four month mark’ as the honeymoon period is almost over. The high staff turnover speaks for itself, no one I worked with apart from senior management is there anymore. I feel so sorry for anyone currently working here. I know management won’t learn anything or care no matter how many bad reviews they get because we’re all crazy and they are always right and have never done anything wrong. Okay! That’s why you’ve got such a poor Glassdoor score and while I was there we were ‘strongly encouraged’ to go on and give positive reviews. But I’m sure they’ll deny this like they deny any wrongdoing whatsoever.

Pros

Good place to start your career, leading to better and brighter things. Great team who I have some very fond memories with. Almost everyone I worked with would absolutely flourish at a well run company.

Cons

Incredible amount of work put on peoples plates. Unrealistic deadlines. No real vision. Managing director is worryingly needy for personal attention. ________________ Convenient how two almost identical glowing reviews pop up both published in the space of 24 hours. Cries of fake, or forced reviews. Fake reviews that list cons like "office can get a bit cold in winter" and "don't have to travel into London" really are signs of desperation from a management team trying to think of anything to write down to hold together any ounce of integrity that is left. Any reviewer giving Creation Lab anything higher than 2 stars are delusional. The 'good reviews' do make for funny reading though, you can almost see the puppet strings. Sad to see current employee's being coerced to post reviews, but nothing surprises me about that sinking ship. ________________

Thank you for your review, however we believe this isn’t your first negative review towards The Creation Lab and it is disappointing that you choose to misuse this platform in this way. We would normally respond constructively, however it is very obvious your review is simply an attempt to personally attack management and an attempt to damage the organisation’s reputation. It is unfortunate that you still feel the need to continue a personal vendetta following your departure a long time ago. I can assure you The Creation Lab is performing very well, and has grown considerably since your departure; but thank you for your concerns. I can also assure you that all our reviews are genuine and written by current employees at their own discretion.
