Pros

It's small, so people really make an effort. Your welcome is big. Your birthday is big. The holiday party is always a fun, personable time. It's a really nice thing. Also, the owners are lovely, and know their stuff. They've created a really nice atmosphere for people who want to work in advertising, but also want to live their lives. Jen Augustyn is one of the smartest/kindest people I have met.

Cons

Some of the pros sadly contribute to the cons. Because of the size, it's not that easy to get promoted, and I doubt anybody here is doing it for the money. (Which can be a good thing though!) But it is a little unconventional. For the most part, if you're just looking for a fun place to work or learn about the industry, this is a good place to be. Personally, my major con was my supervisor. I think she was smart and talented, but her managerial skills were very poor, and she was very difficult to work with. Because it is a small company, and there is no HR, when I finally reached a point of being truly unhappy with my situation (and uncomfortable with comments that were made to me), I had to report it to a partner, and of course there was no anonymity. It was awkward and incredibly stressful; nobody should have to deal with that.

Pros

Honestly the only pro I have are the people. Coworkers became some of my great friends - we all struggled together so you tend to get close lol

Cons

Underpaid & overworked. Don't mention you are struggling because then you become targeted and micromanaged. Oh, and they basically will push you out once you admit you are struggling - the leadership will portray that they are there to help but nah that's a lie. If it wasn't for the amazing coworkers & friends made at the agency, I wouldn't of survived lol
