Pros

The leadership gives you first-hand experience in how NOT to operate in a professional world. The undiagnosed narcissistic personality disorder that permeates the c-suite fuels new recruit love-bombing sessions that will make you feel like a cornerstone of their operation. That is, until you push back on their self-destructive ways. Pro-tip: Don’t do that ;) Plenty of opportunities to step up to a role higher than your experience level in order to fill the vacuum that those with the actual title and paycheck create. A creative department that has been in a constant state of disarray, so you never know what a good “Escape Pod” idea is until it falls out of the former or current ECD’s two-dimensional understanding of pop culture or humanity. Functioning addicts and alcoholics, you’ve found your tribe! 80’s B-movie-styled misogyny coming from the highest levels of management and aimed at most women that work here. Interns and juniors, you’re the #1 target! Occasional interaction with outside vendors that know what they are doing and how to work alongside a dumpster fire. Latch on to these people and learn everything you can from them! No HR, so there are no rules until they decide there are rules and YOU’VE just violated them. Keeps the work experience interesting. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Cons

Limited parking for employees with cars.
