Pros

great colleagues sense of community

Cons

questionable management lack of awareness of staff making people redundant too often (one case making someone redundant weeks after his wife had a baby) not looking after people's faith (I know many who have left this company who have also lost their religious beliefs because of the practices at this company) management constantly micromanaging and not understanding boundaries when it came to their employees personal lives

Pros

Some exceptional people with genuine heart work here

Cons

They lie to get into schools to promote salvation which they actively raise money based upon how many souls they will save (don’t believe me download their full accounts). They jump to conclusions based upon assumption, they do not support the mental health well being of their employees prioritising their self promotion and crazy ideology instead. They have a lack of work ethic amongst their leadership teams when it doesn’t fit their own agenda. It damages faith, damages opinion of what Jesus truly taught in acceptance and is quite frankly the worse place I have ever worked - and I have worked in third world nations.

Pros

Opportunities for promotion Great place to gain experience Generally friendly place to work Lots of deeply passionate staff Fantastic at hiring people who have little job experience or who have criminal records. Lots of opportunities to get hands on doing frontline work if you choose alongside your standard role.

Cons

Staff regularly "disappeared" without announcements, many because they were made redundant for their job to be readvertised with minimal changes in a few months. If the CEO decided he didn't like you, you were gone within a month or two. They fired a woman for dating another woman. They stated another staff member would be fired if they dated someone of the same gender. I heard that someone was not invited to interview because their social media showed they had been part of a LGBTQ+ community in the past. A senior manager faked vomiting when she talked about a queer couple having a child. Conservative Christian beliefs are consistently strongly emphasised during work time in meetings which are mandatory. Heterosexual marriage is stated as superior to being single or any other form of long term relationship set up. Staff members prophesy over other staff members without permission in all staff meetings. There is consistent pressure to fundraise from your own social network.
