Business outlook
Pros
- Exposure to big-name clients and industry giants. Many employees take in-house roles at well-known tech companies after working here.
Cons
- Toxic, cliquey workplace culture. Those that have been at Outcast long are shown a lot of favoritism.
- No work-life balance. Expect extremely long hours. You will need to justify signing off or stepping away from your desk if you have any kind of life outside of work. You will be expected to sign on early in the morning or late at night for needier clients who have immediate access to you via Slack. Expect to work even if you’re on PTO.
- Employees are encouraged to “snitch” on one another.
- Accounts are improperly staffed and expectations are not clearly laid out.
- Managers offer conflicting advice and speak poorly of one another.
- Members of the leadership team that are notoriously hot-headed and hard to please are both feared and rewarded.
