The Painted Turtle is an incredible place to be part of, whether for a full-time position, a summer, or even a day. The mission drives your work, and you get to see firsthand the impact you make on families' lives. People are friendly and unified by their love for kids and the overall mission.

As another reviewer mentioned before, there can be "political" aspects of both hiring and day-to-day operations. There's no real line between supervisor and employee, and that can lead to a wide variety of negative dynamics and misunderstandings.
