Pros
I have never worked at a place where I felt so completely aligned with my coworkers. We all share a common vision and mission that drives us in this work. The organization is innovative and looking at different ways to go about solving issues and supporting communities that have historically been marginalized. Also the staff is so warm and genuinely cares about one another as people.
Cons
It’s a lot of work! You will work hard and always feel like you could be doing more. I also think it’s really challenging at times to be a “start-up” school in that we are sometimes missing some structure. The innovation can be frustrating because things are changing fast. However, these are completely outweighed by all of the benefits of working here.
