Pros

- There are some good people there. - Office was nice.

Cons

- They claim to have a “Culture you can Count On”. That is true if you count on not being respected, valued, listened to, and supported. - Senior Leadership is way out of touch with employees. In an effort to appear they were “trying”, they conducted an employee survey on how people were feeling about working there and one of the overwhelming sentiments was that people were feeling stressed with their work. The CEO’s response was “stress is a choice”. Every concern expressed by employees was turned back on them with no accountability or action steps from leadership. Gaslighting! - Revolving door. People were constantly being let go or quitting. - Quarterly “Townhall Meetings” were an opportunity for leadership to tell everyone how horrible they are at their jobs. CEO was terrible with his messaging and everyone would get off these calls feeling deflated and uninspired. - Lack of transparency from leadership. - Everyone had the same KPI’s, but at the end of the day it did not apply to everyone. - Wasn’t a “full desk” so your goals were contingent on other’s performance - Zero opportunity for raises. - So many other places in the industry to make better money. - Benefits were average at best.

Pros

The employee engagement activities can be fun.

Cons

When I first joined the company, I was under the impression that I would be constantly making commissions as an account manager when making hires. Only to find out on my first day that I had to make a certain amount of GP before I could start making money. In my tenure there, I saw five new people leave quickly. That’s a sign that there is something broken with the company. And the company branch isn't big! We had redundant meetings on where you were at with your orders. At one point, we had 11 meetings weekly, talking about the same things. That’s not to keep us on track, that’s about control. You will be asked to work with impossible clients on trying to fill hires for them, and in the same breath they will ask “Why is your GP not where it needs to be?” The micromanaging was also frustrating. I will never forget being berated by my VP via email in front of my team. It was so humiliating. This company has been struggling for a few years, due to the tightening of markets and the rise of ai, and have done multiple layoffs in the past. The company has lower than average holidays. They would rather promote burnout than giving employees rest.
