My experience at Thinkads was one of the worst working experiences I've had due to what I believe was a very poor workplace culture.
One of the biggest issues was being expected to handle personal errands that were unrelated to my job. I was regularly instructed to buy lunch for the entire team and was even asked to help plan my boss's son's birthday. These tasks had nothing to do with the role I was hired for and made me feel that employees were not being treated professionally.
The work assigned to me was also very different from the job description I accepted. Despite being expected to take on unfamiliar responsibilities, I was given little to no proper guidance or training. When things went wrong, instead of receiving support or constructive feedback, I was blamed for the mistakes.
During my time at Thinkads, I constantly questioned my own abilities because the environment was so discouraging. It affected my confidence, and every day felt demoralizing.
After leaving the company and experiencing a healthier work environment, I realized the problem was not my capability but the company's culture and leadership. Employees deserve to be treated with respect, given work that aligns with their role, and provided with proper guidance to succeed.
