Pros

I loved working at Third Hemisphere because of the company’s focus on purposeful PR. The agency is selective with its clients, focusing on impact-driven sectors like sustainability, fintech, and technology. The result is work that feels meaningful and future-focused. Leadership is involved but not overbearing, and they often invite team members to contribute ideas early on in campaign planning. The variety of accounts helped me grow quickly and adapt to multiple industries. Mentorship from more experienced team members was always accessible and constructive. There’s a real camaraderie among colleagues and a “we’re in it together” attitude that made even busy weeks manageable. I appreciated the freedom to shape narratives and take creative risks. The performance review process is structured and fair, and personal development plans are taken seriously. Work-life balance is good, though at times, client urgency required extra flexibility. But even then, management was understanding and willing to shift things where possible.

Cons

Agency pace can be high; better resourcing could reduce bottlenecks.

Pros

Great place to build resilience, since you’ll be doing the work of three people while management perfects their LinkedIn thought-leadership. Excellent networking opportunities too: with recruiters, since everyone’s polishing their resume by month three.

Cons

Where to start. “Founder-led” apparently means the founders lead the media appearances and everyone else leads the actual client work. Impressive commitment to the bit, though, hard to find two people who work less while demanding more. Clients get the full “churn and burn” experience: locked into contracts airtight enough to survive a client’s total loss of faith, minimal delivery, and an auto-renewal clause that outlasts most staff tenures. If you enjoy watching leadership care more about their own press coverage than the clients supposedly being represented, you’ll fit right in. Bonus points for the occasional kid cameo on client calls, very relatable, very unprofessional, and about as polished as the AI-written copy that goes out the door. Alumni network is basically nonexistent; ask yourself why almost nobody who leaves stays in touch.

Pros

Working at Third Hemisphere was an incredibly rewarding experience. From day one, I felt welcomed into a culture that truly values collaboration, creativity, and personal growth. The leadership team is approachable and transparent, regularly soliciting input and feedback. We had the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that directly influenced client success, which made every day fulfilling. The company invests in professional development—covering courses, conferences, and certifications—which allowed me to expand my skillset significantly. The flexible work arrangements, including remote days and flexible hours, helped me maintain a healthy work–life balance and reduce stress. Benefits like generous parental leave, wellness stipends, and comprehensive healthcare further reinforced the feeling that the company cares about employee wellbeing. And perhaps most importantly, my colleagues were smart, supportive, and passionate about making a real difference. The sense of community was palpable through regular team activities, mentorship programs, and open communication channels. If you're seeking a values-driven workplace that encourages innovation and personal development, Third Hemisphere is a rare gem.

Cons

Growth occasionally feels slow; heavier workload during project peaks.
